Too Many Unanswered Questions

Twenty years ago, I started asking questions that couldn't be answered. The techniques didn't make sense. The explanations didn't hold up under pressure. Something was missing.

So I went looking for the source.

Four Years of Letters

I hand-wrote letters to Seiyu Oyata himself. Eventually made contact via email with some of his senior students. The process took four years.

Worth it.

My first training trip to the United States in 2005 changed everything. I learned more from Oyata's junior students in that trip than I'd learned in the previous ten years combined.

That's when I understood: most of what passes for "traditional" karate is watered down, misunderstood, or outright fabricated. People teaching second-hand knowledge they never properly learned, building entire systems on incomplete understanding.

The Real Thing Exists

Authentic Oyata lineage teaching exists. Deep technical knowledge. Analytical approach to understanding how things actually work. Methods that make sense when pressure-tested.

I've trained under multiple senior and original students of Seiyu Oyata. That journey started over 20 years ago and continues today—still seeking that connection, still having those "aha!" moments that refine understanding.

We Upset People

Our approach breaks rules set by people who never learned high-functioning karate in the first place. When their students attend seminars and hear what we teach, it doesn't align with what they've been told.

Good.

Come See the Difference

I can tell you about depth of knowledge, analytical approach, technical understanding. But you won't believe it until you experience it.
